We wanted to make the wine shopping a bit easier so we pulled a bunch of our favorite wines to show you. We also picked out chocolates that they pair best with so you can have your own wine pairing at home!
Rhiannon California Red Wine - "The wine is a blend of Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Barbera. Complex yet approachable in style, our California Red Wine expresses elegant red fruit flavors and toasty oak notes."
The Federalist Lodi Zinfandel - "On the forefront of red fruit flavor stands a Zinfandel wrought in rich plum and blackberry spice with a finish so long and smooth, you might call it revolutionary."
Troublemaker from The Austin Hope Family - "The Troublemaker blend is an opaque deep purple color with powerful aromas of ripe cherry, dried plum, and savory sage. The palate entry is somewhat of a surprise as the finesse of black currant, hints of sweet oak and espresso lead into luxuriously soft yet firm tannins that linger through the mid-palate and beyond."
19 Crimes Red Blend - "Our red blend bears the same traits as those banished to Australia. Defiant by nature, bold in character. Always uncompromising. It's a taste you'll never forget."
Chocolates to Pair: We recommend our high cocoa dark chocolate barks in almond, pecan, cranberry, and pretzel.
Mer Soliel Silver Unoaked Chardonnay - "Opens up with aromas of flower blossoms, crisp pears and a hint of honeysuckle. Bright citrus evokes the clean taste of Meyer lemons, which grow amidst our estate vineyards, where a portion of this wine is sourced. On the palate, the wine is round and layered, with an acidity and depth that belie its unoaked character."
San Angelo Pinot Grigio Toscana IGT - "The temperature-controlled fermentation (59-64˚F) of the free-run juice is immediately followed by storage at a low temperature, which leaves a small and natural effervescence. A few months after the harvest, before the year ends, bottling takes place. Taste: Fruity and crisp, very refreshing."
Astoria Sparkling Moscato Rosé - "A refreshing sparkling wine with fine and persistent bubbles. Delicately sweet with hints of peach and strawberry."
Chocolate to Pair: We recommend milk chocolate coconut clusters and sea salt caramels.
